There are a lot of “master cleansers” out there that kind of veer away from the original plan, so I’m providing it here:

2 Tablespoons fresh squeezed organic lemon or lime juice,
approx. ½ lemon (absolutely no canned or frozen juice) -
2 Tablespoons genuine Grade B or C organic maple syrup, the darker the better (not the grade A or maple flavored sugar syrup, which lack essential minerals)

1/10 Teaspoon (pinch) cayenne pepper or to taste, gradually increasing
(the more BTUs the better!) -
8 ounces purified water, room temperature (cold water may be used if preferred)
Drink 6-12 glasses of lemonade daily, approx. one glass every 1-2 hours. If you get hungry, just have another glass of the lemonade drink. More or less maple syrup can be taken to your desired taste/hunger, but do not vary the amount of lemon/lime juice per glass. You can also blend a part of the lemon skin and pulp with the lemon drink in a blender for further cleansing and laxative effect.
It is advised to mix your lemonade fresh just before drinking. Mixing it up in the morning for the whole day is not advised. You can however squeeze your lemons in the morning and measure out the 2 tablespoons when needed.
Remember, No food should be taken during the juice fast, but an occasional hot cup of peppermint tea (known for its soothing, calming effect) is permitted throughout the day if you don’t feel like drinking the lemonade or purified water. (please read the MC book for more detailed information.)
You can follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days or more (maximum of 40 days for serious health conditions), up to 4 times a year.

An ideal formula involves freshly extracted juice from sugar cane, which is more readily available in India, but not so much in the US.
