Also been taking my barley/wheat grass and drinking my &#8216;blood orange&#8217; cocktail (yummy!) every morning. I mix one fresh squeezed orange w/ some Florida Natural orange juice, which is pretty good, just the right amount of consistency and sweetness. Some OJ&#8217;s are too thick and sweet (usually from concentrate) and hurt the tummy.</p>
<p align="justify">Haven&#8217;t really had a taste for any heavy foods, like meat and dairy. The soup is really filling and the OJ and fruit/nut mix takes away any craving for something sweet.</p>

<p align="justify">I think 10 days is just enough to clean out the system properly because today is the only day that i have no desire for food. Go figure.</p>

My stomach has been cramping up a bit after drinking my laxative tea last night, had to drink lots of water just to get to sleep&#8230; I think the cramps get worse when there&#8217;s nothing for the herbs to work with, they just grab hold to the sides of my intestines and cause all kinds of havoc. owwwwww!</p>
<p align="justify">Nothing much to report&#8230; weight&#8217;s come down some, i can tell the difference more in my face than on the rest of my body&#8230; belly&#8217;s not poking out as much. Other than that, don&#8217;t really feel all that much different, but definitely don&#8217;t feel like crap anymore (yeah, there&#8217;s a pun in there somewhere)&#8230; just need to get up and get movin, stop sleeping so much&#8230;</p>

<p align="justify">After yesterday&#8217;s shenanigans, I decided to start off the day with the saltwater flush, just to nip any cravings in the bud and get more aligned with the proper steps for this cleanse&#8230;  At this point 10 days seems more than enough, since I want to start eating again (at least for a couple weeks). In the beginning I was a little more ambitious, but being a first timer, i&#8217;ll be satisfied with 10 and work it out from there &#8211; although I still think ten days of fasting is just the tip of the iceberg&#8230;</p>
<p align="justify">So I&#8217;m readjusting my plan:<br />
Do the initial ten, with five days preparing for solid foods&#8230; then notice what types of foods i really want/crave while eating (healthier) solid foods&#8230; then, if i begin craving junk foods, i&#8217;ll know that more cleansing is needed and will start a 15-day fast (working gradually into it), moving up in 5-day increments when necessary&#8230;  Hmmm, sounds good for now.

<p align="justify">12am</p>
<p align="justify">The smell of food is so intoxicating&#8230; I was tempted to make breakfast this morning,  just to get a whiff of eggs &amp; buttered toast. I actually don&#8217;t really want to put anything like that in my mouth though, as this would probably make me sick to my stomach&#8230; made some good ol&#8217; fashioned spicy lemonade instead&#8230; mmm, mmm.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify">Definitely having the mental/emotional withdrawal symptoms now&#8230; the kind that can easily fool me into quitting this fast&#8230; I&#8217;m really obsessing over food. The 5th and 6th day have definitely been the most difficult so far&#8230; I rarely, if ever, watch the Food Network channel, and now find myself glued to the tv, watching all of it&#8217;s wonderful scrumptious and colorful yumminess. Some would think this to be torture, but it&#8217;s kind of theraputic for me&#8230; If i can&#8217;t enjoy eating food right now, I can at least enjoy looking at it and imagining what things taste like&#8230; Might as well embrace it instead of trying to fight it, right?</p>
<p align="justify">I&#8217;m going to vent my Top Ten excuses for quitting here, in hopes that they will stop haunting me:</p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;This fast is making me feel too tired.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;This isn&#8217;t healthy.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;Six days of cleansing should be good enough.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;I could really count the two days prior to the &#8216;official&#8217; 1st day, since i barely even ate anything and only had one cigarette&#8230; which would make it 8 days of fasting.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;I can&#8217;t drink as much water as i&#8217;m supposed to, and the salt water flush is too dehydrating.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;I&#8217;m tired of drinking lemonade, it&#8217;s not good for my blood sugar levels.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;I can start again later, it&#8217;s better to start a fast in the spring anyways.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;I&#8217;m bored with this, and I need to eat because my body is weak.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;I can&#8217;t handle the cravings. I&#8217;ll just eat healthier now.&#8221;</em></p>
<p align="justify"><em>&#8220;I need to be in a more supportive environment, where i&#8217;m not tempted to eat.&#8221;</em></p>

<p align="justify">Several 8 oz. Glasses of (watered down) fresh orange juice as desired during the day. Drink it slowly. The OJ prepares the digestive system to properly digest and assimilate regular food. If there has been any digestive difficulty prior to or during the change over, extra water may be taken with the orange juice: 4 oz (1/8 liter) O.J. mixed with 4 oz purified water, dilute with more water if needed.</p>
<p align="justify"><b></b></p>
<p align="justify"><b>DAY 12 </b></p>
<p align="justify">Several 8 oz. glasses of (watered down) fresh squeezed orange juice as desired during the day. Drink it slowly.</p>
<p align="justify">Vegetable soup broth for dinner, with a minimum amount of vegetables from the soup. Rye wafers may be eaten sparingly with the soup, but no bread or crackers.</p>
<p align="justify"><b></b></p>
<p align="justify"><b>DAY 13</b></p>
<p align="justify">Drink OJ in the morning- with extra water, if needed.. Soup for lunch. For the evening meal eat whatever is desired in the form of raw vegetable salad, vegetable soup, or fruit.</p>
<p align="justify">No meat, fish,  eggs, bread, pastries, tea, coffee, or milk. (Milk is highly mucus forming and tends to develop toxins throughout the body.)</p>
<p align="justify"><b>DAY 14</b></p>
<p align="justify">You are now ready to eat normally.</p>
<p align="justify">Normal eating may be resumed, but best health will be retained if the morning meal consists of lemonade or fruit juice: and, of course, if a strictly fruit, vegetable, seed and berry diet is followed.</p>
<p align="justify">If, after eating is resumed, distress or gas occurs, it is suggested that the lemonade diet be continued for several more days until the system is ready for food.</p>
<p align="justify"><b></b></p>
<p align="justify">Recommended:</p>
<p align="justify">Orange juice or lemonade drink in the morning. Fresh organic fruits &amp; berries, vegetables, seeds, nuts for lunch. Fruit, salad or soup for dinner.</p>
<p align="justify"><b>DAY 15</b></p>
<p align="justify">Normal eating may be resumed, but no junk food, dairy, tea, coffee, white flour, white rice, heavy animal proteins, etc.. If, after eating is resumed, distress or gas occurs, it is suggested that the lemonade diet be continued for several more days until the system is ready for food.</p>
